Description

Drew Bledsoe was selected by the New England Patriots with the 1st pick overall in the 1993 NFL draft out of Washington State.  He would play for the patriots through the 2001 season, winning Super Bowl XXXVI.  He would be traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2002, where he would stay until 2004.  He would join the Dallas Cowboys in 2005 and would finish his career there.  He would retire before the 2007 season.  He was selected to four Pro Bowls during his career.  He has the distinction of being able to say Tom Brady was his backup.  It took an injury to Bledsoe for Brady to take over the starting spot in New England.
