Description

Kellen played collegiately at Texas A&M from 2017 to 2020.  He was drafted 66th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.  He would spend the entire season as a backup, only seeing playing time in the Week 17 matchup against the Green Bay Packers after Sean Mannion was benched.  He would be waived by the Vikings on August 20, 2022.  He would be claimed off of waivers by the Cleveland Browns the following day.  He would be one of three SEC quarterbacks to throw for more than 9,000 yards and rush for more than 1,500 yards for their collegiate career.  The other two are Dak Prescott and Tim Tebow.  He led the Aggies to an 8-4 record, #19 ranking and 74-72 win over LSU in a historic 7-overtime game in 2020.  He also was selected as the 2021 Senior Bowl MVP.  Kellen can prove what he can do if he can get the playing time.
