Bobby Witt Jr. is the son of former MLB player Bobby Witt, who played 16 seasons for 7 teams with stints with the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals.  Bobby Jr. was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2019 with the 2nd overall pick.  He would start his career in the rookie league in 2019.  He would be promoted to the AA Texas League Central team Northwest Arkansas Travelers in 2021 after the cancelled 2020 season.  He would be a stud in 2021, batting .292/.369/.570 with 16 home runs, fifty RBIs, and 14 stolen bases over sixty games.  He would then be promoted to AA Omaha where he would put up .285/.352/.581 with 17 home runs, 46 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases in 62 games.  He would be added to the Kansas City Royals opening day roster for the 2022 season, he would hit his first MLB homerun on May 3rd against the St. Louis Cardinals.  He would join the 20-20 club on September 3rd against the Detroit Tigers.  Only time will tell what this kids potential will bring forth.
