Ja played collegiately at Murray State from 2017 to 2019.  He would help lead Murray State to back-to-back NCAA tournaments.  He would be selected 2nd overall in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies.  He would win the 2019-20 NBA Rookie of the Year award and be selected to All-NBA Rookie First team.  He would help lead the Grizzlies to the 2020-21 NBA Playoffs.  They would lose in the first round to the Utah Jazz.  In 2021-22, he would be selected to the NBA All-Star game, All-NBA Second team selection and NBA Most Improved Player award.  He would lead the Grizzlies to the second round of the playoffs, which would be a series loss to the Warriors.  He signed a contract extension for a five-year $193 million deal with incentives.  This guy is a stud and it’s just a matter of time before he wins a title and MVP awards.  This would be a great addition to any collection.
