Description

Josh played collegiately at Reedley in 2014 before transferring to Wyoming in 2015, where he would complete his collegiate career.  He would win MVP honors for 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl win over Central Michigan.  He was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 7th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, which also included Lamar Jackson, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield and Josh Rosen.  He would begin the season as backup to Nathan Peterman.  He would take over after Peterman was benched with a 0.0 passer rating on September 9th, 2018.  The Bills would finish the season with a 6-10 record and 5-6 record under Allen.  In 2019, the Bills would go 10-6 with Allen as the starter and team captain.  They would make the playoffs and lose to the Texans in a overtime nail-biter.  2020 saw Allen and the Bills make the playoffs again where they would make it to the AFC Title game only to lose to the Chiefs.  Allen would finish second in NFL MVP voting behind Aaron Rodgers.  In 2021, he would lead the Bills to the playoffs again only to lose to the Chiefs in the Divisional Round.  He would break Joe Montana’s postseason passer rating record of 146.4 with a rating of 149.0.  He was selected as a Pro-Bowler in 2020.  Allen is a stud, only time will tell if he wins a League MVP and Super Bowl.  This card would look great in anyone’s collection.
