Carson played collegiately at North Dakota State from 2011 to 2015. He would lead the Bison to back-to-back FCS titles in 2014 and 2015 as a starter. The Bison won the FCS title all five seasons Carson was enrolled at North Dakota State. He would be selected 2nd overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles behind Jared Goff at number 1 to the LA Rams. He would become the starter after Sam Bradford was traded to the Viking prior to the start of the season. Carson would lead the Eagles to a 7-9 record in 2016. In 2017, he would tear his ACL and miss the rest of the season in week 14, Nick Foles would take over at quarterback and lead them to the first Super Bowl Championship in Eagles history with a victory over Tom Brady and the Patriots, a feat only completed twice by Eli Manning and the NY Giants. Carson would have a lack luster 2018. He would lead the Eagles to the second NFC East Division title since 2017 and a playoff loss to Seattle in the Wild Card round after he suffered a helmet-to-helmet hit from Jadeveon Clowney in the first quarter, ending his playoff debut. He would have a dismal season in 2020, which would be his last with Philadelphia. He would join the Colts in 2021, where he would fail to make the playoffs with a 9-8 record. He would be dealt to the Washington Commanders, where he is currently 1-3 on the season. This is Carson’s rookie card and would look great in anyone’s collection.
