2016 Panini Origins Rookie Autograph Red #130 Dak Prescott graded Gem Mint 9.5 for the card and 10 for the autograph by Beckett Grading Services.  This card is numbered 53/99.  Dak played college football at Mississippi State University from 2011-2015.  He led his high school football team to a Louisiana State Division I-AAAA Championship title in his senior year in 2010.  While at Mississippi State he was a redshirt Freshman, a backup to Kyle Russell for 2012 and 2013 until Russell’s.   Dak led the Bulldogs to the 2013 Liberty Bowl win over the Rice Owls and won the game’s MVP award.  He retained the starting job in both 2014 and 2015.  In 2014, he tore up the opposing secondaries for 3,449 passing yards and 27 passing touchdowns.  The Bulldogs finished the season with a 10-2 record and an Orange Bowl appearance.  His play in 2014 also helped MSU receive their first #1 ranking in program history.  He broke 10 school records in 2014.  Dak finished eighth in the 2014 Heisman Trophy voting, receiving two first place votes.  In 2015, his senior season, Dak led the Bulldogs to an 8-4 record and a Belk Bowl win over the NC State Wolfpack.  He amassed 3,793 passing yards with 29 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing touchdowns for the season.  He played in the 2016 Senior Bowl and was the most outstanding player in the game.   Dak was drafted 135th overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2016 NFL Draft.  Dak started every game his rookie season leading the Cowboys to a 13-3 record and top seed in the NFC playoffs.  He would win the 2016 NFL Rookie of the Year and 2016 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year Awards while compiling 3,367 passing yards and 23 passing touchdowns to 4 interceptions with a Quarterback Rating (QBR) of 104.9.  He set several team records as a rookie for the Cowboys and a few career records as well over his 6 years with the team.  He has led the Cowboys to the Playoffs three times and hasn’t gotten past the Divisional round.  Only time will tell if he gets the opportunity to win a Super Bowl, but Dallas has the talent to do so.
