Wilson played college football at the University of Wisconsin in 2011 after transferring from NC State in January 2011.  He played at NC State from 2007-2010.  He would throw for 11,720 yards with 109 passing touchdowns and 30 interceptions.  He also ran for 23 touchdowns.  He would finish his collegiate career by playing in the 2012 Senior Bowl.  He would be drafted by the Seattle Seahawks with the 75th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.  He would lead the Seahawks to the playoffs his rookie season, winning his playoff debut in the NFC Wildcard game against the Washington Redskins.  They would go on to lose to the Atlanta Falcons in the Divisional round.  Russell would make the Pro Bowl his rookie season as an alternate for Matt Ryan.  He would post 98 passing yards with 3 touchdowns and passer rating of 147.1.  His rookie stats would be 3,118 passing yards with 26 passing TDs and 10 INTs, 489 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs.  He would lead the Seahawks to the Super Bowl title in 2013 compiling 3,357 passing yards with 26 TDs and 9 INTs to go with a 13-3 record.  He would become the shortest NFL quarterback to win the Super Bowl at 5’11”.  He would stay with the Seahawks through 2021.  He was traded along with a draft pick to the Denver Broncos on March 16th, 2022, in exchange for Drew Lock, Noah Fant, Shelby Harris and 5 draft picks.  He has won a Super Bowl, back-to-back NFC Championships, the 2020 Walter Payton Man of the Year and other accolades in his career.  Russell Wilson is already a World Champion, and his card will only increase in value over time, so NOW is the time to invest if you want to own a Russell Wilson Rookie Contenders Rookie Ticket autograph.
