Description

Ovechkin began his career in Russia then was drafted 1st overall by the Washington Capitals in 2004.  He led the Capitals to the 2018 Stanley Cup title and won the Conn Smythe trophy for playoff MVP that year. He has won the league MVP 3 times and was voted the league’s best player by the NHLPA 3 times.  He has a record 9 Maurice “The Rocket” Richard trophies for being the league’s leading goal scorer starting in the 2007-08 season. Alex also won the Art Ross trophy that year for scoring the most points in the league.  Alex Ovechkin could very well break many of Wayne Gretzky’s records and is quickly becoming the next NHL Hockey GREAT. This would be a great addition to any collection.
