Drew played college football at the University of Purdue from 1997-2000. He would pass for 11,792 passing yards with 90 touchdowns and 45 interceptions during his time at Purdue. He would finish fourth in the Heisman voting in 1999 and 2000 while winning the Maxwell Award in 2000. He would set two NCAA records, 13 Big 10 records and 19 school records. He led the Boiler Makers to the 2001 Rose Bowl. He would be selected by the San Diego Chargers with the 32nd pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. He was the second quarterback taken in the first round that year with the other being Michael Vick. Drew would play for the Chargers through 2005 before going to the New Orleans Saints in 2006 by way of free agency. He would stay with the Saints until his retirement. He won the 2009 Super Bowl with the Saints and took home the 2009 Super Bowl MVP award. He has won two NFL Offensive Player of the Year awards and has set multiple NFL, NCAA and other Gridiron records. He won the 2006 Walter Payton Man of the Year award, 2004 NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, was selected to 13 Pro Bowls. Should easily be a first ballot hall of famer once eligible.
