Originally drafted in 1979 out of Notre Dame, the 4x Superbowl Champion was selected in the 3rd round. Therefore, Topps did not manufacture a card for Joe Cool in 1979 or 1980; however, this 1981 card is THE ROOKIE Joe Montana card, and this is the first card by Topps. He is a 4x Super Bowl champion 3x SB MVP and 2-time NFL MVP. He was inducted into Canton in 2000. This card would look great in anyone’s collection.
