He is often accompanied by R2-D2. He was originally built as an assistant for Anakin Skywalker’s mother, Shmi by Anakin. He and R2 would end up in the service of Princess Leia, then Luke Skywalker after Anakin turned to the Darkside of the Force and became Darth Vader. This item would be a great addition to any Star Wars collection, as this is one of the very few remaining 1978 “Original Twelve” Star Wars carded action figures.
