This item was given a grade of 75 or Excellent + to Near Mint by Action Figure Authority. The Jawas are basically the scavengers on Tatooine in the Star Wars universe. They end up selling C3PO and R2-D2 to Owen Lars, Luke Skywalker’s uncle. This Jawa has a vinyl cape instead of a cloth cape, which makes this toy extremely rare. The Jawas make appearances in several of the Star Wars television show spin-offs. This would look great in any Star Wars collection, as this is one of the very few remaining 1978 “Original Twelve” Star Wars carded action figures and is considered the “Holy Grail” of the Star Wars action figures and is highly desired, sought after, and extremely rare.
