1969-70 Topps Earl Monroe graded Excellent (5) by SGC. Centering in the back is off, corners have slight dings all around. Earl “The Pearl” Monroe was drafted 2nd overall by the Baltimore Bullets in 1967. He played in the league from 1967 to 1980. He won the 1968 NBA Rookie of the Year award and was acquired by the New York Knicks in 1971. In 1972-73 he helped lead the Knicks to the NBA Championship over the L.A. Lakers with Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West. He was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 1990 and was a 4-time All-Star and member of the 50th and 75th NBA Anniversary Teams. This card would look great in anyone’s collection and is a MUST have for any serious NBA fan, HOF NBA fan and NY Knicks fan.
