Description

Jim Brown was drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the 6th overall pick in the 1957 NFL draft out of Syracuse.  He would set the NFL single-game rushing yards record of 237 yards that would stand for 14 years, this was also a rookie rushing record that would stans for 40 years until Corey Dillon of the Cincinnati Bengals broke it in 1997.  Brown would be invited to the Pro Bowl every year of his 9-year career.  He would win an NFL championship with the Browns in 1964.  He would win the 1957 NFL Rookie of the Year.  He is a 3-time NFL MVP, 9-time Pro Bowler, 8-time First-team All-Pro, 8-time NFL Rushing yards leader, 5-time NFL Rushing touchdown leader, NFL and NCAA Football Hall of Famer.  He would go into acting and social reform after retiring from the NFL.  He is considered the best NFL running back in history.
